2. University of Kentucky — Lexington, Kentucky
Good sports. Part of the SEC but not overly “southern.” A true party school. The University of Kentucky is a quintessential college.
I’ve never been, so I can’t speak too much on it. But we have an intern who goes to UK and is from Lexington and can’t stop talking about how much he loves it. The bars downtown are amazing — shout out to Two Keys, the best bar in all of Kentucky. The Greek life is superb. The alumni base is crazy about the school and takes care of its own.
If I could go back and do it all over, I would have submitted an application to become a Kentucky Wildcat. Stand up, BBN.
