31-Year-Old Former Army Ranger Breaks 53-Yard Run For Dartmouth In First Carry
We received the following email today about a damn fine American soldier and college football player.
Whats up guys?
My name is [name redacted] and I play football for Dartmouth College. Last winter a 31-year-old ex-Army Ranger joined our team and has been working out and practicing with us ever since. The guy is cool as fuck and a couple of weeks ago he finally got a chance to play when we were killing Columbia in the fourth quarter. Attached is a video of what he did with his first collegiate handoff. It being Veterans day and all, I thought this seemed pretty appropriate.
Go America,
[name redacted]
It is very appropriate. It always is, actually, Veterans Day or not.
Kevin Price is his name, and he served six — yes, six — three-month deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan as an Army Ranger. He’s also a husband and father of two. On October 26, while his Dartmouth Big Green held a comfortable lead over Columbia, Price’s already impressive list of achievements grew by one more. He saw his first live game action. And as you’d expect, he made the most of it.
Watch Kevin Price’s first ever collegiate carry:
On top of all that, the man is “cool as fuck,” per our emailer. What an awesome moment. Happy Veterans Day.

For America! Such badassery
12 years ago at 8:34 pmHow can a 31 year old play college football? Like not physically, but legally.
12 years ago at 8:36 pmThat’s not the point ya jamoke.
12 years ago at 8:38 pmeveryone gets 4 years of NCAA eligibility, as long as you have never received payment to play that sport professionally. if some 64 year old CEO had never entered a pro-am or a tournament with prizes, he could ‘attend’ college and play NCAA golf for 4 years. That’d be a TFM
12 years ago at 8:41 pmAge does not matter in NCAA, you have 4 years of eligibility (to be on the active roster) no matter your age.
12 years ago at 8:46 pmi knew this would get so many laps. well thats all i wanted to know. I have a ton of respect for the guy, my uncles a ranger as well.
12 years ago at 9:13 pmSeriously? How are you on this site and didn’t know that? GTFO
12 years ago at 6:38 amHappy Veterans Day.
12 years ago at 8:40 pmBreakin’ terrorist necks and breakin’ tackles. Merica.
12 years ago at 8:42 pmThat email has to be fake. It has grammar and punctuation and is coherent. Cut the shit, Dorn.
On a serious note, this is absolutely awesome. Go America!
12 years ago at 8:47 pmAlso, that is one serious frat swoop he is rocking.
12 years ago at 8:50 pmits also dartmouth, you assclown
12 years ago at 8:55 pmTHIS^
12 years ago at 11:32 pmGod Bless America
12 years ago at 8:49 pmFor those of you who don’t know what it takes to be an Army Ranger, take a few minutes to educate yourselves. This guy is a true badass and a true American.
12 years ago at 8:55 pmJust to touch the surface watch Surviving the Cut Army Rangers
12 years ago at 10:44 pmThe Surviving the Cut episode focuses on Ranger School which is a leadership school upon completion of which you earn the Ranger Tab. To be a true Ranger you go through RASP to join the 75th Ranger Regiment. Check out “To Hell and Back”, SOFREPs youtube channel, or Dick Couch’s “Sua Sponte” for more info on actual Army Rangers. It’s a very common misconception.
12 years ago at 10:33 pmHe looks like Phil Mickelson after six 3-month deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan.
12 years ago at 8:56 pmBid Him.
12 years ago at 9:27 pmIf I saw an Army Ranger running at me like that, I’m running away
