35-Year-Old Famous Person James Franco Tries To Hook Up With A Teenager, Gets Rejected

James Franco is a movie star. Movie stars typically get what they want–unless what they want is 17-year-old Scottish bombshell Lucy Clode. Then they get outed to national media for being creepy old men.

Here’s what happened. Clode, a teenager, was visiting New York City as part of an early 18th birthday present. Here is a recent selfie from her Instagram account, so we can, um, relate to the plight of James Franco:

Clode was standing outside of a Manhattan movie theater, where a new James Franco movie was premiering. She filmed this video of the star and posted it to her Instagram.

You can tell Franco wants to hook up with her right there in front of the crowd, but he’s smarter than that. He has done this before. In the video, you can hear him politely ask her to “tag him in it.” This way, he knows he can contact her privately about meeting up later. And that is exactly what the sly bastard did.

Franco has no shame, and he shouldn’t. He quadruple texted her. Twice. He sent her multiple selfies. He offered to rent her a hotel room. He pleaded with her not to tell her friends. But she wasn’t into it, so the hookup failed to materialize.

She did end up posting their entire conversation on the Internet, which created enough buzz that James Franco was forced to respond to the scandal on his Twitter account:

Poor Franco. I feel for the guy on this one. Girls half your age are tough to come by these days, especially when they are minors.
