510 More ASU Arrests Bring Three Weekend Total To 1,367
Go big or go home.
The arrest tallies around the campus of Arizona State University — mostly all students, one would assume — are trending upward, amazingly, even after all the attention this development has been getting. It’s like they’re trying to shatter records, and sacrificing their own arrest records to do so. I can’t say I endorse what’s going on out there, but it’s definitely fun to watch from afar.
On Monday, we reported that 857 arrests had been recorded during the first two weekends of the Sun Devils’ fall semester. Well, the numbers are in for the third weekend, and they’re impressive: 510 more arrests.
Consider that of the 1,367 arrests, 381 of those were for minors in consumption of alcohol, and 125 were for minors in possession of alcohol.
With the help of seven other police departments, the task force also racked up 309 DUI arrests, and 174 warrant arrests over the three weekends.
You can’t accuse them of not knowing how to have a good time at least. I can’t wait to see the numbers for this weekend. Their football team did pitch a shutout last night in a 55-0 shellacking of Sacramento State. Perhaps some celebrating, and subsequently some jail time, is in order.

12 years ago at 11:37 amKeep in mind they say on average, alcohol related busts from bonding out of jail to the last of probation, usually averages $5,000 a person. The cities/counties get finding from court costs, fines, and fees…. So why do all poloce departments in America need money from taxpayers to buy “equipment”, you know like 16 different bad-fucking-ass lights covering every square inch of the car theyre driving? every single city, county, state should put a max limit on it. Police are here to stop crime, do they REALLY FUCKING NEED A PARADE POLICE CAR for every officer?
