6 YouTube Channels To Check Out While You’re Home From College And Bored As Hell
Going home for the holidays sounds fantastic, but then there’s the matter of actually being in your hometown and having a lot of time with little to do. Let’s be real, you’re likely to spend much longer than you’d like to admit just browsing through recommended videos on YouTube to pass the time. To help you out, I’ve come up with a list of channels that have put out hours and hours of great content for your viewing pleasure. Each one is great and unique in its own way, and they’ll all make you a worse human. Enjoy.
Gordon Ramsay
Ramsay is forever the king of shouting insults at hapless cooks and restaurant owners, and his YouTube channel features hundreds of bite-sized clips of him unloading his rage in restaurants and hotels around the globe. It’s just as great as binge-watching Kitchen Nightmares, but you don’t have to sit through any of the parts where people learn from their mistakes and resolve to be better.
Nerdwriter1
YouTube has recently become inundated with more “analysis” channels than you can wave your cock at, and many of them are poorly researched and offer nothing that wasn’t already there before. Nerdwriter is one of the people who clearly puts a lot of time and effort into each video, and he offers expert analyses of everything from Tarantino films to Drake songs to the relationship between Apple and Samsung. Be careful, as his videos will give you the false confidence that you’ll return to school much smarter.
HeadGum
HeadGum is a media company that was co-founded by Jake Hurwitz and Amir Blumenfeld, two CollegeHumor alums who are best known for their Jake and Amir sketch comedy series that ran from 2007-2016. That series was what got me into comedy in the first place, and it’s also a great show to kill time with. Their new HeadGum network features their same strange brand of humor, but has the two taking a backseat to some new characters. Each episode is short and hilarious, and as of now there are over fifty to watch.
Binging With Babish
This channel has soared in popularity over the last year or so, and it’s not hard to see why. It features a chef attempting to faithfully recreate dishes from popular films and television shows, and they’re sourced from such material as The Simpsons, Seinfeld, Stranger Things, and Mad Men. Each of his creations looks delicious, and he also has videos that teach some of the basics of cooking for you Hot Pocket-eating dorks out there.
LAWHFextra
LAWHF, run by Andrew Hales, was and still is one of the less obnoxious prank channels on the internet, but I’m referring to his second channel here. This channel mostly sees him vlogging his everyday life, but it’s quite different than most of the boring and cancerous vlog channels you’ll run across. Andrew is a genuine and funny person, and his videos offer an intimate and down-to-earth view into his life, friendships, and struggles. He also uses the channel to interview other YouTube personalities, and those interviews can give you an inside look at the lives of comedians and other entertainers in their 20s.
iDubbbzTV
You’ve probably already heard of this channel by now, as this guy has become the king of YouTube in a relatively short amount of time. He’s most known for his well-researched and inflammatory Content Cop series, which sees him systematically roast other YouTubers for what he perceives to be bad content. Each time one of his videos drops, the internet goes into a frenzy to find out who his latest target is. This is some of the best content on YouTube, and I highly recommend you check it out if you haven’t already..

How long ago did you “get into comedy”? You think by now you would have moved on from writing shit articles to something a little better, if you had any talent at all. Thanks for the 3rd grade level analysis of some garbage videos, you pile of Planned Parenthood trash
