Arkansas Drops From 8th to Out of Top 25 in Latest AP Poll
We’re sitting at two weeks into the 2012 college football season, and some dramatic changes to the AP top 25 have already taken place. The biggest being Arkansas’ plummet out of the 8th spot after falling to Louisiana-Monroe in an overtime thriller. The Hogs lost QB Tyler Wilson to injury during the game, giving the Warhawks an opportunity to upset the top 10 team. They seized it.
The only team to take a more drastic fall from the poll was Michigan in 2007. The Wolverines opened the season at No. 5 and dropped out after a Week 1 loss to Appalachian State.
