French Court Orders Magazine to Turn Over Kate Middleton Nudie Pics
It’s all good, everyone. The nudie digital copies of Kate Middleton’s hammer-times have to be turned over and destroyed. Thank goodness, it would be a shame for those things to get out into the grubby hands of the public.
A French court ordered a magazine publisher to hand over all digital copies of topless photos of the Duchess of Cambridge within 24 hours and blocked further publication of what it called a “brutal display” of William and Kate’s private moments.
Under the ruling Tuesday, the publisher of the French gossip magazine Closer faces a daily fine of €10,000 ($13,100) if it fails to hand over the photos featured in Friday’s “world exclusive” issue of Prince William’s wife Kate. The photos were taken without authorization during the royals’ vacation at a private residence in southern France.
What am I missing here? What does this solve other than applying some feeble humanitarian principles to an invasion of privacy? Is the “deny, deny, counter-accuse” concept only a thing here in the states? With the poor quality of the photos released, this would have been the best avenue to explore. Really, it barely even resembles the couple in the photos.
The world wide web is permanent, you damn Euros. Those Royal torpedoes will forever be viewable by anyone with an internet connection.
