KSU Quarterback Collin Klein’s First Kiss Was with His Wife

Quarterback of the 8-0 Kansas State Wildcats, and Heisman frontrunner, Collin Klein revealed to the world that he recently had his first kiss. It was on his wedding night on July 21 according to a conversation he had with Dennis Dodd from CBS Sports.

It’s hard to fathom that a 6’5″ blonde dreamboat and star athlete with a rocket arm wasn’t strutting around campus pant-less and knocking boots with every other girl on campus. They’re not all like that, though, as a young, 14-year-old Klein made a personal pact with himself that he wouldn’t bump uglies, or even swap spit, until he was married.

He kept that promise to himself when he and his wife finally kissed on July 21. That’s not the only unusual part of Klein and his wife, former-Kansas State basketball player, Shalin Spani’s relationship. They never had a formal date until they were engaged.

Klein said that God told him that he would marry Spani, the daughter of former Kansas State and Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Gary Spani. Spani said she heard a voice in her head saying the same thing about Klein
