For those of you keeping score at home, that would be 37 Senators and 104 Representatives. In other words, Greeks make up 37% of the Senate and a little over 23% of the House of Representatives. In total, Greeks make up a little over 26% of 113th United States Congress. It’s a TFM.
If you’re wondering what the count is for your fraternity or sorority, don’t worry, I was nice enough to count for you…but there were a lot, so I only counted once…LAY OFF ME.

My favorite part of this list aside from general Greek dominance? Three of the fraternities with the most congressional members (KA, ΣΧ, ΣAE) are also three of the fraternities that pop up the most on my news alerts for hazing and alcohol violations. Granted those are also three of the biggest fraternities in the country, but still, I love it. Rage on Congressmen, rage on.
Oh and uh, maybe let’s be useful this session, huh? This is Congress, not chapter.
Ed. Note: Multiple readers have pointed out omissions by the original source of this list. If there are any other omissions please note them in the comments and they will be added. – Bacon
