    This is funny because it references the 1973 Lynyrd Skynyrd song “Freebird”, which is famous for the very long and complex alternating guitar solos that comprise the song’s closing five minute instrumental, as well as the common act of doing “air guitar”, where a person will pantomime the strumming of a guitar upon hearing a favorite rock song of theirs. The poster is implying that his appreciation for “Freebird” is so extreme that he feels compelled to pantomime the plucking of each of the several thousand individual notes in the lead guitar section, rather than casually strumming along with the rhythm guitar section which is what one would normally expect a fan of the song to do.
