15 Million Dollar Superyacht Can Be Piloted By iPad, Is Now On My Christmas List

A man can dream, can’t he? The damn thing puts my 20 ft. Mako to so much shame.

This yacht, now the property of shipping magnate Anto Marden, is a sight to behold. It’s kind of like the Millennium Falcon had sex with a yacht, and this is their strange, but incredibly awesome, yacht design love child. The craft is 42.5 meters long, which, for the metrically challenged, is about 135 feet. That is a gigantic fucking yacht, to put it in engineering terms. It has 15 double bedrooms, so you can entertain a decent chunk of your chapter or other people with so much money they don’t know what to do with it all. The choice is yours.

Now, this whole mega-yacht thing kind of poses a problem. A ship that big is kind of hard to pilot. They thought of that, too. You can change course, heading, speed, etc. all from your iPad. You could literally be sitting in your hot tub full of diamonds and champagne (because why not, you just bought a 15 million dollar yacht), and change your destination as you’re balls deep in a 10. That’s a ship that enables power moves, right there.

If you happen to have 15 million laying around, it might not be a bad investment.
