Cold Beer Goes On Sale Today In Oxford

As we reported a month ago, The Oxford Board of Aldermen voted to scrap its ordinance prohibiting cold alcoholic beverage sales in convenience stores and grocery stores. Cold beer was to be available for purchase in the city of Oxford on September 19, 2013.

That’s today.

It implies the fact that you have to wait and cool it to drink it, discouraging drinking and driving. It’s stupid as shit

oh so the same reason making drugs illegal discourages citizens from using them.

This is fucking great. The ability to get a nice buzz before you get back to the house and ice the beer down is something a lot of you fuckers take for granted. We’re cherishing that ability in the greatest town in the world today.

Sadly this is an end to the Last Stop Challenge.

Go to the Last Stop for Cold Beer Store and to try to drink an entire six pack before you get back to Jackson.

If you can’t drink a six pack from Madison to Jackson then you need to let your balls drop. I’ll even give you Canton to Jackson to be charitable.

And I’m just sitting here in Pennsylvania, where we still can’t fucking buy beer in the god damn grocery store or gas station.
