Detroit Tigers’ Prince Fielder Ate A Fan’s Nacho Chip Mid-Game

Now, I know there are some people out there who don’t like baseball, but I don’t care. They’re all communists, and this is America.

As much as I like baseball, I will admit that it can get a little boring at times. It’s not like football where you can sit down at any point in the game and be entertained. There’s a lot going on. All kinds of numbers shit that’s way over my head, but in the end, I just like baseball.

One thing I’ve always thought would make baseball more popular is if players started doing things to get the people going. You know, like Kenny Powers. Well, one player just did that.

Prince Fielder, the first baseman for the Detroit Tigers, was booking it in pursuit of a foul ball. While he failed to grab the ball, he did grab something else. Fielder must have been a little hungry that day because he reached over the railing and took a nacho chip from a fan. Power move.

Two things could’ve made this even better. I would have found this ten times funnier if Fielder had dipped the chip in the nacho cheese, and had he taken the chip from a Mariners fan.

In the end, the chip must have given Fielder a little extra boost. He ended up scoring a run that broke the 4-4 tie and led to his team beating the Mariners, 5-4.
