CNBC Anchor Carl Quintanilla Downs 4 Vodka Shots Live On-Air From Sochi

Usually reserved to broadcasting from the floor of the NYSE for CNBC’s morning show “Squawk on the Street,” Carl Quintanilla has been in Sochi as of late to assist with the network’s Olympic coverage.

Knowing there’s not much going on in Sochi aside from the Olympics and vodka, and that his parent network pretty much has the Olympics fully covered, Quintanilla opted for a feature piece on the latter yesterday.

The result?

A little bit of information was shed on the vodka industry, and Quintanilla took it upon himself to down four shots of some prized Soviet reserve stash in just 13 seconds, proving once and for all that no one, including his producers, gave any fucks about this report.

Quintanilla is an alumnus of the University of Colorado at Boulder, so there’s no doubt he honed his drinking skills well back in the day.

Check it out:

When in Russia, right? Nice move, Carl.

So nice, that Bob “Pink Eye” Costas followed suit live on-air last night.

U-S-A! U-S-A!

You can start talking shit on this guy once you start getting paid to shoot vodka at the Olympics. Until that day comes, take a seat.
