        Maybe the City hasn’t been relevant. Beside it being “Hockey Town” The state dominates hockey in the North. AAA Hockey in Michigan trumps everything else. Minnesota has it’s high school hockey but who cares about high school hockey it’s for benders.

        You guys all forgot about the state of Massachusetts for hockey. It has more Division 1 hockey schools in one state than any other state in the country and it’s the home of Boston Bruins. Just being relevant is not enough.

        AAA might be where the players go now but I still think there is something special about high school and its a shame its gone to shit. Minnesotas where the history, its the state of hockey for sure

        Seems you forgot that Shattuck St Mary’s has dominated AAA for years and has as it’s alumni captains of both team Canada and team USA.
