George Mason’s Prince William Campus Receives Spring Break Bomb Threat

Apparently the psychos can’t take a week off and relax like every other college student in America. Even though the students of George Mason University in Virginia are out of school for spring break, the school’s Prince William campus was evacuated this morning due to a bomb threat.

The university sent out this tweet at 7:34 a.m. EST through the school’s emergency alert system:

The local police responded quickly, evacuating three campus buildings. They closed the campus to vehicular traffic and also suspended bus service between Prince William and the main campus in Fairfax. Though students are on spring break, a large group of high school students and some employees of the university were on campus this morning. They are all accounted for and reported as safe. Police investigated throughout the morning, and at 12:05 p.m. EST, the school announced the investigation had concluded and the campus should resume normal activities.

This threat came on the heels of a similar bomb threat, which happened at George Mason’s main campus in Fairfax, Va., just last week. That particular threat, written on a note and found overnight in an art and design building, resulted in the university closing several buildings and canceling classes for most of the morning.
