Florida’s Rejected License Plate Submissions Are Hilarious, Totally Florida

Since 2002, Florida’s Department of Transportation and Motor Vehicles has reportedly reviewed more than 2,300 submissions for vanity license plates. The seven character citizen-submitted plates range from funny and quirky to downright offensive and lewd, with the latter certainly being more entertaining.

We all know Florida’s residents have a proclivity for making the rest of the nation laugh, and they sure didn’t fail us this time.

Here are some of the best rejected vanity plate submissions, from the DMV:

This guy must have been really bitter at last season’s end. It’s easy to see why this was rejected. College football is always a contentious subject, and the DMV probably didn’t want it to translate into incidences of road rage, which, by my guess, would’ve been pretty likely in this case.

Equally as forward as the last, you’ve got to believe the DMV was acting in the public commuter’s best interest by vetoing this one. At least there are similar memorabilia plaques available for those who really feel the need to dish out their disdain for a rival school.

I’d have my doubts if this thing was rolling around tacked onto a 1996 Toyota Camry, but if I saw a hot blonde in a 7 Series sporting it, I’d only have to assume its validity.

The least offensive of any plates I saw, this guy is probably an awesome dude to share a few beers with at a game day tailgate. Any man who can accept he is an “old fart” and own it is a champ in my book.
