Xavier University’s Pig Roast Looked Fun
What do you get when you mix 50 kegs, 140 bottles of champagne, and 2,160 Solo cups? The answer: Pig Roast at Xavier University.
A tradition stretching back to the ’60s, Pig Roast has been the annual year-end party to end all year-end parties. Contrary to popular belief, there has never been an actual pig at the Pig Roast. Depending on who you ask, when the students who started the tradition tried to get a street blocked off, the cops refused to put up the blockades for a party alone. The students lied and said they were roasting a pig, and Pig Roast was born.
