Donavan admitted he can’t train with the team 12 days and in a row. “I will be the team cheerleader if left off” that quote says it all

He’s been in bad form for the Galaxy. He’s been spotty and missed some games. We still got some Grade “A” American talent in the line-up like Dempsey, Altidore, and Howard.

Altidore is not “Grade A”….he’s currently performing the worst of his career. 1 goal in 20+ matches

I still get chills from the USA chants. Hell of a moment, even in a sport we only give a shit about once every four years.

What hurts the most is that a completely unproven 18-year-old German was chosen over the greatest player to ever suit up for the Stars and Bars. I’m sorry, I thought this was America.

The germans have a very good shot at winning the World Cup considering last time half their players were from their u21 team and they’ve all since been playing with better teams.

The Donovan today is not the Donovan from ’10, ’06 or ’02. The guy was lazy and took a 4 month sabbatical also missing the Bayern game which was huge. Not to mention he’s a step behind the speed and capability of the guys that beat him out.

Donovan might be slightly less skilled than the men who beat him out, but his experience and leadership is far superior. He should’ve been left on.
