Baylor Fan Removed From Baseball Game After Dousing Fans With Water, Claims They’ll Be Baptized By Art Briles

In-state rivalries are the best. If you’re the traditionally superior team, it’s yet another chance to prove to Baby Brother who runs shit. If you happen to be Baby Brother and pull the upset, it’s a chance to talk yourself up for a year before being ruthlessly annihilated the next time the two schools meet. It’s the circle of life.

Baylor’s baseball team didn’t even make it through its conference tournament, but that didn’t stop one Baylor fan from being a jackass to his fellow Texans.

Shortly before Texas Tech dog-piled on the field following its victory over the College of Charleston, which allowed them to advance to the College World Series, the school’s fans had to deal with a man who continuously doused fans with water and told them they’d be baptized by Baylor’s football coach, Art Briles.

While I have no idea who this moron is or what his intentions were, if he wanted to rile up TTU fans, he did it the wrong way. The real way to get under your opponents’ skin isn’t to directly piss them off by spraying water all over them.

The most effective way to piss off the fans is to make fun of their insecurities regarding their team. Maybe you beat them 20 years ago by one point in a rain-shortened game with some very questionable calls from the officials, but it doesn’t matter. Let them know they lost to what they consider to be an “inferior” team and watch them explode. It’s not that fucking hard.
