Pro Golfer Breaks Rib In The Least Manly Way Possible

Jesper Parnevik is a PGA golfer who was suppose to play this past weekend at the John Deere Classic. He withdrew with an unspecified injury. We now know that injury was a broken rib, which he suffered after falling off a segway.

It’s embarrassments like this that further proves my point of golfers not being true athletes.

Try playing a full round of golf. If it leaves you sore the next day, it’s most likely a sport. Unlike poker- why is that on ESPN?

Does Dufner have the athletic ability of LeBron James? Not even close. But, does that mean golf isn’t a sport? Good luck convincing me that it’s not.

Prior to the 2003 season David Bowens of the Miami Dolphins tore his ACL while changing a light bulb. Your point is moot, op.
