A Houston News Station Ran This Ticker Last Night: “Tony Romo, still the gayest player on the cowgirls”
Last night, Houston’s local Fox affiliate, FOX 26, was covering Tony Romo and the Cowboys when they ran a ticker across the screen that read, “Tony Romo, still the gayest player on the cowgirls.” Aaaaaaaaand someone just got fired.
Residents of Houston and Dallas have developed a rivalry of sorts, constantly bickering over which city is second best in the state, behind Austin (obviously). And of course there’s the whole football thing going on. You just can’t go around calling guys gay like that, though. C’mon, man.

Not only is this incident highly inappropriate and detestable, it’s factually incorrect–the Cowboys just signed Michael Sam. Heyyyooooooooo.
Holy shit did I nail that joke, guys.
