Johnny Manziel Misses College And Raging His Balls Off

Don’t we all? He misses the parties, the babes, and actually playing. Sure, he still has the booze and the women (I’m sure it’s slim pickings up there in Cleveland) but Manziel ran College Station. He was the king of the castle. In Cleveland, he no longer is the king. At least for now, Brian Hoyer has claimed the starting position for the foreseeable future.

Manziel was quick to point out that he doesn’t miss school–he just misses the guys he hung out with.

“It’s just different,” he continued. “Guys (in college) can come in with a 25-person class that you’re with there for four or five years. Here you get a different mix of rookies coming in. It’s a little smaller class. Everybody here goes home to their families.”

“They’ve got a lot of other things going on. In college, you’re in the same class with some of the guys, you’re doing the same things on campus, you’re doing the same things outside of football, too. I feel like you’re a lot more of a tight-knit group in college, but at the same time, there’s still a lot of love in this locker room and a lot of that in an NFL locker room I still feel.”

Going home on a Tuesday night rather than hitting up dollar beer night? That’s a hard pass. I don’t blame him one bit for missing the golden days. At least he has his trusty clipboard to keep him company..
