Hunter Biden, the son of Vice President Joe Biden, was discharged from the Navy Reserve earlier this year for failing a drug test. His drug of choice? Coke.

Per “Market Watch:”

Mr. Biden, 44 years old, decided to pursue military service relatively late, beginning the direct-commission process to become a public-affairs officer in the Navy Reserve in 2012. Because of his age—43 when he was to be commissioned—he needed a waiver to join the Navy. He received a second Navy waiver because of a drug-related incident when he was a young man, according to people familiar with the matter. Military officials say such drug waivers aren’t uncommon.

Mr. Biden was commissioned as an ensign on May 7, 2013, and assigned to Navy Public Affairs Support Element East in Norfolk, Va., a reserve unit, according to the Navy. In June 2013, after reporting to his unit in Norfolk, he was given a drug test, which turned up positive for cocaine, according to people familiar with the situation. Mr. Biden was discharged in February, the Navy said.

Biden, an attorney, is currently employed at an investment firm where he is a managing partner. Neither his company nor the Vice President have released a statement, though Biden released the following one himself:

“the honor of my life to serve in the U.S. Navy, and I deeply regret and am embarrassed that my actions led to my administrative discharge. I respect the Navy’s decision. With the love and support of my family, I’m moving forward.”

Sorry, Hunter, even Obama couldn’t get you out of this one.

Hmmm…your profile pic suggests you are military, but only someone wanting to act ignorant uses PFC insignia. If not, then don’t go acting a hardass. Rush comes from a military family. Her daddy would stomp a mudhole in you.

Corp.? I didn’t know there was a Quartermaster Corporation in the US Army. I must’ve missed that memo.

Sorry my phone missed the s in Corps. I’ll take my laps after my PT test, will that work for you? Also, have you not been to Ft. Lee, it’s home to the Quarter Master training site. It’s where most 92 series get their training along with other branches versions of Quarter masters.

You published the same “King of Trolls Insults Entire Staff” story at TSM that Dorn published here. So far he has almost 70 comments and you have only 4. Get your shit together over there.

And now you published this Biden story over there at TSM and it has zero comments. You know why no comments on your stories over there? It is because you jump down their throat anytime they say something you don’t agree with.
BTW, I love your sexy chimpmunk cheeks. (emoji smiley face)

Damn, G**gle advertising algorythm is so fast and accurate it is scary. I was over in the forums. I typed in
RushToRehab and within three seconds an advertisement for “Zulilly, All Plus Shapes and Sizes” popped up.

Coke’s out of your urine in a few days max… either this was a hair test or he gives absolutely no fucks.

Bingo. Either he assumed he wouldn’t get popped because of his status, he’s a complete idiot or the Commander suspected it. The CO wouldn’t want to have the VP’s son singled out, so he probably did a 100% or a “95% random” if this was the case.

“the honor of my life to serve in the U.S. Navy…”
Yea, working in Public Affairs was probably super stressful. He screwed up a month after he got commissioned, and he should have known that drug test was coming. You didn’t do shit, man
