Men Dressed In Military Uniforms And Guy Fawkes Masks Threaten Greek Life Members At KU

Some eerie shit went down this afternoon in Lawrence. At about 1 PM, multiple individuals entered KU lecture halls dressed in military uniforms and Guy Fawkes masks. These individuals, led by a man who referred to himself as “Anonymous” (real original, I know) interrupted classes and spoke out against the university, campus police, and the Greek community.

They claim it was nothing more than a “peaceful protest” in response to the campus’ handling of recent sexual assault allegations.

Via Anonymous Tipster:

It seems as though it’s some sort of protest against rape. Last month, there were three sexual assault allegations over the same weekend. One occurred at a party at the Kappa Sigma chapter house and the other two occurred at a campus residence hall. The fraternity was the center of a media firestorm headed by the UDK (University Daily Kansan) while the on campus rapes were not reported on.

The on campus rapes were eventually reported.. on at least a week later, maybe longer. But the Kappa Sigma case continued to be the main focus as they were put on interim suspension.

Because of the age we live in, of course students captured these V for Vendetta wannabes on Instagram.

Normally, based on their costumes, I’d be booking it as soon as they came in the door, but the moment that dude opens his mouth, his nerdy voice eliminates all intimidation.

Still, throwing out phrases like “we are coming for you” and saying that the members of Kappa Sigma “will be dealt with accordingly,” doesn’t exactly sound like an innocent protest as much as it sounds like fucking threat.

Thankfully, nothing violent came of the incident today.

It’s unknown how many masked dingleberries took part in this 5th of November “protest,” but it’s been confirmed that two have been taken into custody by police.

We’ll keep you updated as this story progresses.

So I can start telling hippies on campus I’m going to, “Deal with them accordingly”? Thanks Obama.

“Freedom of speech is everybody’s right, as long as you agree with me” is the liberal mindset. So no, the hippies will not take what they dish out.

No idea how they didn’t get their asses kicked, or at least their masks yanked off

If liberal pussies would allow legal guns to be carried we wouldn’t have to worry about shitwads like these hippies

I mean it’s kind of good they didn’t allow guns on campus because whoever shot these unarmed nerds would be getting it hard in the poop shoot for the next 15 years

I would have stood up, punched him as hard as I could, then tackled him and started acting as if I thought he was about to start shooting, just so I could claim self defense.

Wasn’t really going for bravery so much as an excuse to deliver a self satisfactory punch to the face, but fuck you very much too Fratrick.

The fact that after your hardest punch you still have to tackle him lets me know you’re a pussy

I don’t know enough facts here to say for certain but the Guy Fawkes mask has become the symbol for the internet hacktivist group Anonymous. It sounds like these guys are doing a poor job at trying to act on their behalf.

I can’t stand that stupid mask. It just screams poor liberal hipster who lives in their parents basement. They think they are a symbol of anarchy or the people, but are too naive to realize that Guy Fawkes (and the Gunpowder Plot) intended to switch the Protestant king with his Catholic daughter. There are better ways to be proactive than to resort to such childish ways. In a decent culture, they would’ve been taught to educate themselves and to actually try to make a difference instead of just attacking things they don’t like.

What’s really ironic is, they protest large corporations and governments, but every Guy Fawkes mask purchased kicks back a royalty to Time Warner Cable, which is one of the companies they’ve fought in the past.

The mask originally was used as a way to fight back against parliament and reinstate power to the pope…. so really, I don’t get why people use him as a symbol… unless of course they want religion to rule vs. politics… which is just as bad

I learned about “anonymous” in my cyber crime class last year. They are pretty much a bunch of internet trolls that hack into websites and fuck around with them. They do stupid shit like this, and also troll the Westboro Baptist Church. They are just a bunch of nerds that have nothing better to do.

You’ve gotta admit, the masterful trolling of WBC definitely scores them points, though.

The main Kappa Sig drug+rape allegation turned out to be false after the chick admitted to making it up to get money (she already has a kid). Heard they are now suing her for defamation.

literally the same exact thing happened at my school, kappa sig “raped” a girl and the entire school and liberal media freaked the fuck out. When they found out she was lying and that she did the same thing in her prep school they stopped reporting and left our greek life in shambles.

Really hoping that’s true but I haven’t been able to find anything that says the rape allegations were false. Can someone post a link or point me to a legitimate source?
