Whataburger Has Beef With New Playoff Standings, Wants Baylor In
I’m sure you remember those “Who’s in?” commercials that ESPN ran back at the beginning of the season. You know, the ones with the smoking hot Alabama girl. I love those commercials because everyone has an opinion, and at the end of the day, they aren’t Condoleezza Rice, so their opinion isn’t worth jack.
That won’t stop people–or businesses, for that matter–from declaring that their team should be in. Whataburger is one of those businesses that is displeased with the recent standings, and the burger joint declared its support for the Baylor Bears Wednesday on Twitter:

Why would Whataburger want Baylor in the playoffs? Who knows? Maybe a Baylor grad runs the Twitter account, or maybe it’s because Baylor players love Whataburger. I’m sure some of the dudes who slept through that Whataburger run are having the exact same feeling of exclusion that comes with being right outside the four-team playoff bracket.
The bottom line? TCU is in and Baylor is out, even though Baylor beat TCU. Whataburger has beef with that..

11 years ago at 3:39 pmTired of this argument. TCU and Baylor both have 1 loss. The frogs may have lost to Baylor but Baylor lost to WVU.. Seems pretty cut and dry to me but that’s why I don’t work for ESPN.
