BYU And Memphis Just Beat The Shit Out Of Each Other After Their Bowl Game

It was a battle of opposites and nobodies today in the Miami Beach Bowl. The Brigham Young Cougars took on the Memphis Tigers in a double overtime thriller. Memphis eventually won the game 55-48, but shit got real after the final whistle when both benches cleared and engaged in a brutal brawl in the middle of the field.

For those of you who actually care about this game, here’s your box score:

Now, let’s get to that good shit. The fight seems to have been triggered by a BYU player who shoved a Memphis player from behind well after the game had ended.

Both benches proceeded to clear and the Mormons vs. Tigers melee began.

Eventually the staff and indifferent players broke up the madness and the teams retreated to the locker rooms. Tensions were still high, though, and one Memphis fan’s flag paid the price.
