Business Insider Ranked The Most Powerful Militaries In The World — Guess Who’s On Top?

The best way to compare military strength among nations is through head-to-head battle. Thankfully, there hasn’t been much of an opportunity these days to do just that. With that in mind, Business Insider took several tangible measures — including active personnel, nukes, budget, and Global Firepower’s power index — and ranked the world’s dominant militaries for us. According to the results, any nation that isn’t America should be thankful it’s not going up against the powerhouse that is the United States military.

We don’t need to chant “scoreboard” — it’s not even close. It’s like watching the University of Mount Union in football: dominating in all phases of the game. We invest nearly five times more than the next highest country. We rule the air by an exponential margin, which coincides with our hefty lead in aircraft carriers. We may not lead in nukes, tanks, submarines, or active personnel, but I like to equate that to us being efficient. Oregon doesn’t need 10 plays to score, so why should we need more active members and nukes to win?

My money is on the United States 100 times out of 100. I will, however, put my entire bank account on the Germans if Vegas has them as a dog against India. Instead of “Angels In The Outfield,” it would be “Hitler In The Battlefield.” I don’t even think it would be close.

Lastly, let’s talk a little about North Korea claiming to have nukes. That fat-faced asshole doesn’t have shit. He’s crazy enough to have used them by now. .
