Seahawks Fans Outdrank The Rest Of America During The Super Bowl
Who needs the Lombardi trophy when you can claim that your fans are the drunkest fans in the nation? Seahawks fans did just that to do their part to make up for Seattle’s performance on the field Sunday night.
The breathalyzer company BACTrack pulled data anonymously from its app to find out who drank the most during the Super Bowl. It turns out that during the game, those donning neon green and navy blue outdrank Pats fans along with everyone else in the nation.

Seahawks fans saw a steady climb in their drunkenness with the peak coming at halftime when their BAC checked in at an average of 0.116. They were most likely drinking heavily because they were a little upset that Katy Perry wasn’t showing enough skin. I was, too.
It seems that the phrase “win or lose, we still booze” does not apply to Seahawks fans, as they quit drinking after the game and their BAC levels fell to a paltry 0.031. Bunch of quitters — kind of like Seattle’s offense, which quit on Marshawn Lynch and let Wilson try to win the game for them. How’d that work out?
Overall, it’s pretty disappointing to see that the average BAC levels for each team’s fans weren’t much higher. Super Bowl Sunday is the last hurrah for football season until September. It’s an opportunity to drink and forget that for the next two months, basketball and hockey are our only forms of sports entertainment. We must celebrate it with the respect it has earned.
