Student Who Posted “it is better to die from vodka than from boredom” Dies From 25 Shots Of Vodka In 1 Minute
Brazilian student Humberto Moura Fonseca posted a quote by Russian poet Vladimir Maiakovski on his Facebook account. It reads: “It is better to die from vodka than from boredom.” The 23-year-old University of Julio de Mesquita student was recently partaking in a drinking game when he consumed 25 shots of vodka in 60 seconds (fuck that’s a lot of vodka). He collapsed soon after.
Fonseca, along with several others, was rushed to intensive care for alcohol poisoning. He died on the way. The others survived.

A drinking competition went tragically wrong for 23-year-old Humberto Moura Fonseca when he died after downing 25 shots of vodka in less than 60 seconds.
The University of Julio de Mesquita student was taking part in a drinking game in Bauru, south-western Brazil, at the time of his death.
Police are now seeking homicide charges against the organizers of the drinking game, according to Metro.
