LSU Acacia Completely Destroyed Their House After Being Kicked Off Campus
If you screw up and are subsequently punished, you take the consequences like a man, or so we’re taught. When your specific chapter is already facing national criticism, holding onto the few doubts and positives remaining should take priority. Instead, the men of LSU’s Acacia chapter chose to prove that LSU’s administrators and their national organization made the correct decision by removing them from campus.
Last week, LSU and Acacia’s national office made the decision to remove the chapter from LSU’s campus following allegations of severe hazing. The university gave the chapter house’s residents until April 13 to remove all of their belongings and find other living accommodations, however, according to reports from The Advocate, the men have already begun the process of moving out and destroying the house in the process.
The chapter allegedly hosted a “rage party” Friday night as they entered the final week in their house and spring break began. In the process, the chapter’s members destroyed windows and burned furniture.

While most members declined to be interviewed, several did give anonymous statements to a reporter on scene.
From The Advocate:
Two Acacia members, who declined to give their names, said fellow members caused the damage and added that “everyone was really mad.”
One new member said, “We basically paid dues to get hazed for a semester.”
While the LSU Police Department has inspected the damage, they say no charges can be filed unless the owner of the house chooses to do so. According to an LSU spokesman, the owners are Acacia’s alumni group and housing corporation.

10 years ago at 8:05 pmU of I it is on the rise
10 years ago at 8:57 pmI’m sure your Acacia chapter is “top tier” and “rages so hard.”
10 years ago at 6:00 am“On the rise” = shitty but might be good one day
10 years ago at 7:03 amI see that you’re from Illinois. Just wanted to let you know, “U of I” is University of Iowa or maybe even Indiana, but it is certainly not University of Illinois.
10 years ago at 8:14 amMost people I know from Indiana University would take offense at being called U of I, seeing as it’s IU. And as far as Iowa, there are 12 million people in Illinois who think U of I is the University of Illinois, and 3 million in Iowa who think it’s the University of Iowa.
10 years ago at 11:47 amIU is Indiana
10 years ago at 12:52 pmTheir slogan is a tautology: “an organization is not necessarily good because it is old, but old because it is good.”
10 years ago at 8:59 pm1. if, good -> old
2. Acacia is old
3. Acacia is good
Conclusion: would never join Acacia.
Their slogan is:
10 years ago at 11:01 pmif A then B or ~B (or A does not imply B).
But if B, then A.
Where A is “old” and B is “good.”
I mean they still suck, but you’re just wrong.
Glad I’m getting a review on the transitive property here, guys.
