Airplane Janitor Accused Of Stealing 1,429 Bottles Of Booze From Planes

You never get rich by always abiding by the rules. A slight reach here, a minor infraction there — it’s all necessary. For those that we have never heard of, it worked out. Others, such as this member of a John F. Kennedy Airport cleaning staff, the pieces eventually crumbled.

A commercial airplane cleaning crew member at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York City was arrested Friday after a witness spotted her jacking mini bottle of booze from the planes she was tasked with cleaning.

The woman’s thefts appear to have spanned three years, authorities tell CNN. As for the more-than-1,400 mini-bottles of booze, the New York Post — citing unnamed police sources – writes: “She wasn’t selling the bottles but appeared to be hoarding them.”

Greece has been searching for pennies in the sewers for years now, and the Houston Astros are currently in sole possession of the American League West. It’s all proof that we don’t know what could happen tomorrow. Is a booze apocalypse plausible? Of course it is.

In all, the woman is charged with stealing 1,429 bottles from JFK’s planes. On top of the alcohol, authorities also connected her to the theft of seven iPads, two laptops, 19 Kindles, and a mountain of toiletries. The total value of it all nearly eclipsed $15,000.

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has charged the woman with grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property. Should she be convicted, her liquor jacking days will earn her a sweet seven years in a New York prison..
