Statue On University Campus Depicting Man Talking To Woman On Bench Deemed Sexist, I Give Up

Sexist Statue Depicts A Man Talking To A Woman Sitting On A Bench

A disgusting, degrading, and sexist statue has finally been exposed for what it is. The statue, erected at the University of Incarnate Word in San Antonio, depicts a man propping his foot on a bench to speak to a woman, also sitting on the bench.

A harmless display representing typical college fraternization, right? Wrong.

From Washington Examiner:

That tweet went viral over Memorial Day weekend. It all started when Ash Hernandez saw the statue on her way to take a teacher’s certification test. She was so outraged that she ran back to her car to get her phone to snap a picture.

“The sculpture just screamed mansplaining,” Hernandez told Women in the World, a New York Times affiliate.

Hernandez is a goddamn social heroine. Notice how the man is quite literally talking down to the woman (an act known as “mansplaining”), who is posed in a submissive position. Also, notice how her head is level with his penis, suggesting that women live only to satisfy their male superiors with unreciprocated oral sex.

This statue is so sexist that the mere sight of it has brainwashed my fragile, easily-persuaded male mind into thinking I am better than all women. Upon seeing it, I abruptly stood up in my cubicle and loudly demanded that the TSM writers be paid less than me. I then sprinted to a nearby high school and yelled at girls in the hallway to stop distracting their male classmates with their exposed shoulders. Hussies.

I clung to only a few remaining shreds of sympathy for members of the female gender after four years of fraternity life taught me to hate them — because that’s what frats do, you guys. Then this statue comes along. God help us poor, close-minded men.

My last pay check was 9500 dollar working 12 hours a week online. My sisters friend has been averaging 15k for months now and she works about 20 hours a week. I can’t believe how easy it was once I tried it out. This is what I do…. http://goo.gl/kGxysn

In his defense I still have an internal chuckle every time someone replies with that.

Firstly I need to apologize for lapping you when I meant to reply. Laps will be taken on my end. I had to google what manspreading was. I’m from NJ and went to a fairly liberal school but (thankfully) never heard about it. Does anyone know the point of origin for this?

Jessica Valenti. Most hateful troll out there went crazy during the UVA thing. She started it on twitter after getting the idea from a Swedish feminazi. Just look at her twitter… but dont click her articles and give her money. Feminist really are like nazi’s how they call for a privleged group and an oppressed group and the oppressed members are never correct and can never be the victim.

        From her twitter

@JessicaValenti: 4) Just because the prosecution didn’t have enought evidence to bring up possible drugging, doesn’t mean it didn’t happen

Has she never heard “innocent until proven guilty”? What a fucking idiot.

It should just be called “splaining”, without the use of the gender-specific prefixes, man- and wrong-.

The most irritating part of this Feminism movement might be the fact that Feminism itself is oppressive. Through social media Feminists attack those who do not agree with them using the same methods of subordination, oppression and marginalization they find so repulsive when exercised by men in a patriarchal society

I feel like TFM has gotten more red pill lately. Lets continue to shame feminists.

Just because they cant get laid doesnt mean I cant talk to a girl while she’s seated.
