A&M Fans Sell Out Super Regional At TCU After TCU AD Tweets Out Promo Code Only For Season Ticket Holders
With TCU’s improbable comeback win on Monday against NC-State, they moved onto the Super Regionals where they will host in-state foe Texas A&M. A tipster sent us the following about how TCU’s Athletic Director may have allowed A&M to turn a large portion of Lupton Stadium maroon.
A&M baseball fans sell out the TCU Super Regional after the TCU AD post a promo code that allows for season ticket holders to purchase tickets before they go on sale to the public Thursday at 8am. As of noon Wednesday tickets were sold out.
After doing some investigative research, it turns out that season ticket holders received an email with a promo code to buy reserved GA tickets before the rest of the public, including A&M fans. The reserved tickets went on sale Tuesday night. Not satisfied with the email blast, TCU’s AD and the TCU Frog Club both tweeted out the promo code on Monday night, which was “TCU15.”
The tweets have since been deleted. Wrong move, TCU. Texas A&M fans got ahold of the code and blasted it all over the forum on TexAgs. Aggie fans went ahead and bought a bunch, effectively screwing some TCU fans out of reserved tickets. You might be wondering why Texas A&M fans were able to buy GA seats reserved for season ticket holders. One TCU fan explained that all you had to do was create a new account, and voila, you could buy some tickets.
TCU fans couldn’t help but take some hilarious shots at Aggie fans about how some of them will have to sit on the grass. For that, I respect them.
As of this morning, all general admission tickets are sold out. Just saying, but SMU wouldn’t make this kind of mistake..

Infiltrate the dealers, find the supplier
10 years ago at 11:17 amSMU also doesn’t have a baseball team. That’s pretty un-American.
10 years ago at 11:38 amBlame fucking Title IX. It’s a goddamn travesty that we have equestrian and not baseball.
10 years ago at 12:20 pmSame thing happened at Wisconsin. Only fucking team in the Big 10 not to have one.
10 years ago at 12:21 pmSo, the school thinks it’s more fiscally responsible to have equestrian than to have a team contend in an actual sport that people would purchase tickets to attend, buy merch and hit up the concession stand?
10 years ago at 3:24 pmNo dumbass, according to Title IX, you have to spend just as much on girl sports as you do on guy sports. It’s why tons of colleges have women’s soccer, but not men’s. Because all the money goes to football with the men.
10 years ago at 4:46 pmThe tickets “reserved” by the code were all general admission seats. The stands (actual reserved seating) sold out to TCU season ticket holders, so we won’t have to worry about sheep lovers in our seats. Just in the outfield and grass hill where they can graze. Oddly fitting.

10 years ago at 11:50 amThose comebacks by TCU fans were as weak as their AD’s social media skills

10 years ago at 2:48 pmSay what you want to rip on your rival Boulevard, but not even the ghost of a collegiate Erick Dickerson can save the Mustangs the beat down they’ll receive in the fall.
10 years ago at 12:21 pmThat good ole TCU education strikes again. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it a million times: Fuck the Frogs.
