The Cardinals Sent Some Rookies In Uniform To The Starbucks By Wrigley To Get Coffee For The Team

The St. Louis Cardinals have a day game today in Chicago, and that means those groggy professional baseball players are going to need some coffee to wake themselves up before the first pitch at noon.

Luckily, the Cardinals have rookies. What good are new guys if they can’t run to the Starbucks across the street from Wrigley Field in uniform to pick up coffee for the rest of the guys?

Gah! Look at that hazing! Doesn’t it disgust you? Hopefully some serious fines will be passed down to the St. Louis Cardinals for this kind of atrocious behavior.

Regardless of profession, new guys will always have the shit kicked out of them by veterans. It’s how the world works and it’s a good system. It doesn’t matter if you’re a pledge, a newly-minted college graduate on Wall Street, or a professional athlete. Life is about responding to adversity and building character.

Nothing builds character like coffee runs.

It only makes sense to now kick them out of the league and smear them in the media, if there’s other ways to handle this I don’t know it.

Stop acting like this compares to the hazing allegations of fraternities. Some fraternity hazing is innocent like this but we all know it can and does get worse

Yet getting caught for having a pledge binder that has you interview the brothers of the Fraternity you’re pledging can get you kicked off campus.
