Woman Buys Fallen Soldier A Beer, Bar Decides To Keep It On Display
A woman in Tacoma, Washington purchased two beers at a Buffalo Wild Wings on July 9th — one for herself and one for her brother. There was just one problem: her brother wasn’t there, and Washington law only allows one beer at a time. The woman’s brother is a fallen soldier, though. He lost his life in Iraq.
But it’s BWW response that really steps this story up a notch. The restaurant footed the bill for the drink and isn’t throwing out the beer. The bar manager told the server, “Let’s keep it. Just make sure that we change out the lime every day.”
A Military Woman came into my work today for Lunch, she ordered a Blue Moon and a Corona, I told her she could only do…

He later told KIRO-TV, “I just can’t throw this beer away.”
Now, the beer sits next to an American flag in the restaurant.
The restaurant’s been getting much deserved high praise on their Facebook page and from phone calls around the world.
Classy move by all parties involved..

10 years ago at 8:18 amShut up. Respect for fallen soldiers and being comfortable allowing ordinary citizens to carry guns into A BAR are two completely different things.
10 years ago at 8:30 amEvery restaurant should have something like that. Beyond grateful for all the men and women who serve our country day in and day out
