George W. Bush Continues Being Awesome, Shows Up For Jury Duty In Dallas

George W. Bush is proving once again that he’s a man of the American people.

On Wednesday, the former U.S. president took some time out of his retirement to serve jury duty.

The 43rd President fulfilled his civic duty at George Allen courthouse in Dallas, Texas. Here’s how Sheri Coleman, another potential juror, described Bush’s appearance.

From Dallas News:

“They made it seem like it was an anonymous juror that never showed up and then they brought him in,” she said. “He was very personable, very friendly, just ‘hey I’m here to serve,’ he asked questions and was very nice. … I loved it.”

The last time we know Bush was summoned for jury duty was in 2005, but he was kinda busy being president and waterboarding terrorists and shit, so he couldn’t do it.

This most recent jury selection was for civil court, so cases would involve monetary relief and not actual crimes.

I’d pay anything to watch Bush vote on some low-level, white trash, child support court case.

Sadly, Bush was not picked, and America’s dreams have been crushed.

Say what you will about Dubya, but he seems like a genuine and likeable guy.

From the looks of it, I’d say, yes. During his tenure unemployment among young black males has grown 26% while he’s been steadily shoveling money into the pockets of his mostly white Wall St. buddies.

Used to work in politics and heard a story once about the party Bush had for his staff in Jan 2009 to end his term. Big BBQ and he had some beer flown in from TX. As we know, he no longer drinks but was very concerned with making sure all his staff liked the beer. Also thanked every staffer individually and remembered their names. Tbh I don’t agree with everything he did but he seems like a hell of a good man.

Just by showing up for jury duty W has done more for this country than Obama has in two terms.

Cam Brady was a Democrat in the movie. So he’d probably prefer Obama, felt like that needed to be pointed out.

It’s exhausting to open the newspaper every morning and to automatically disagree with whatever Obama is saying before even knowing the topic. At least when W was the Commander in Chief, you knew he genuinely and truly had the American People’s best interest at heart. It was never political with this guy, it was always pure loyalty.

Dubya–he’s the real deal. Not often you can say the POTUS was just a regular guy.

He was far from a regular guy with his wealth and education, not that I’m criticizing him, but he realized that every person was equally valuable, not just a potential voter, and was humble. On the other hand, Obama thinks he is the smartest person in the world and is a narcissist.

What are the odds Dubya and Craig Robinson are summoned on the same day?

George Bush is the girlfriend America broke up with after thinking she wasn’t sexy or “bad” enough, but realized shortly after that her there were a pair of double D’s hiding beneath her cute personality
