I’ve seen all kinds of tricks pulled by batters in intramural softball games. There’s the Maria Sharapova: swing with one hand and let out a high-pitched grunt. There’s the Roger Clemens: wait for a pitch to come too far inside, then storm the mound, bat in hand. And, of course, there’s the Happy Gilmore: square up mid-pitch and take the ball off the dome.

Now, there’s a new and unnecessary and over-the-top way to intimidate your IM opponent while earning runs.

Watch this French softball player pull off an unbelievable behind-the-back hit. Not only does he somehow make contact, but he sends that bad boy over the fence.
