George W. Bush Calls Play At SMU Football Practice Using Signal Board Featuring His Face And Solange Knowles

George W. Bush Continues Being Awesome, Helps Call Plays At SMU's Football Practice

George W. Bush has always been a man of the people. He’s not above showing up for jury duty or for a little football practice with the 2015 AAC champion SMU Mustangs. Yesterday, while SMU was working on their up-tempo offense, they used one of those picture signs to call plays. This particular one included W’s mug on it.

Since he was on hand, Bush decided to hold up the sign and call in the play. He also spoke with the team to pump them up for next Friday’s matchup with Baylor.

From the Dallas Morning News:

Bush chatted with the Mustangs before Tuesday afternoon’s practice and held aloft a signal board with his image on it. He — along with his Secret Service detail — is a regular visitor to SMU athletic teams and events.

W. has just been killing the game since getting out of the oval office. After seeing this, I am all in on SMU football this season. I’m not saying we’ll break the top four for the playoffs, but I’m not saying we won’t either.

Kinda unrelated but does anyone know how much companies pay to be on those signs?

I don’t think companies pay anything nor do they have a say if their logo is used or not.

It is only prohibited to use a company’s logo without their permission if you are using it to sell a competing product.
