Daniel Craig Drinks Pedialyte For Hangovers And Supposedly It’s the Ultimate Cure

From an alcohol consumption standpoint, Daniel Craig is just like his on-screen character James Bond. The 47-year-old actor likes to drink and, from the sound of it, he likes to drink a lot.

In a recent interview with Dejour, Craig told the outlet he drinks Pedialyte to cure his hangovers.

If you wake up in the morning and you’ve got one of those on standby and you down the whole lot… you can carry on drinking! … It’s the difference between life and death as far as I’m concerned.

Not quite the hair of the dog, but I’ll bite. When you think about it, it’s just crazy enough to work.

Pedialyte is mainly intended for dehydrated kids, designed to replenish nutrients and other good stuff. It’s basically Gatorade on steroids.

Pedialyte started marketing it a bit stronger toward shambly, hungover adults back in May.

Here’s the science of it, according to the New York Daily News:

The drink’s high levels of sodium and potassium — more than what’s found in sports drinks — may also balance out a hungover person’s body’s chemistry.

And people are starting to catch on. Its use by adults is up 57% since 2012. There’s powder packs too.

The biggest bulk pack I could find of Pedialyte drinks is eight and the shit isn’t cheap.

Craig said he picked up this morning-after Pedialyte thing from Mark Wahlberg, which isn’t surprising. Marky Mark always knows best.
