Texas A&M Coach Kevin Sumlin Accidentally Tweets Joke About USC Coach Steve Sarkisian

Texas A&M head football coach Kevin Sumlin tweeted, then deleted, a joke about Southern Cal head football coach and notorious drunk Steve Sarkisian on Saturday morning.
Sumlin mocked Sarkisian’s infamous night out last week, in what looked to be a direct message to someone else on Twitter. Because adults are incapable of using social media platforms correctly, Sumlin sent the message to his 72,000 followers instead.
@celebrityhottub @edsbs I'm sure he didn't mean to tweet this publicly, but it just makes me love the man even more. pic.twitter.com/FB58eQhr0S

For those of you who are unaware, going #SarkAfterDark means you get on stage in front of your boss and some boosters and say a bunch of inappropriate things about other schools before being escorted away. Sark blamed the incident on accidentally mixing alcohol with his prescribed medication, a convenient excuse that I plan on using the next time I make a fool out of myself after drinking too much. It’s a bold move for any coach, especially one who probably doesn’t have the job security of a Nick Saban or an Urban Meyer. Both of those guys could get on stage in front of a bunch of VIPs, read an excerpt from Hitler’s Mein Kampf and get off with only a verbal warning.
I like to think Sumlin was DMing another college football coach and that the whole coaching community is secretly mocking Sark for being a lightweight. I hope going #SarkAfterDark becomes of college football meme this year, because it is hilarious. You know who is probably getting a kick out of this whole thing? Lane Kiffin.
Even if USC went undefeated this year, I think we can all agree the highlight of this Trojan football season will be when its football coach drunkenly insulted Notre Dame before being walked off the stage by the athletic director. That shit is too funny..

10 years ago at 2:25 pmMr. Holt, I understand that your fathers live in a different city than you, and Grandex doesn’t pay underachieving writers enough for you to afford a flight to visit. We would like to help.
Please contact us, and we will provide you with round trip (hopefully) tickets to visit them.

10 years ago at 3:03 pmThat mein Kampf line was the best thing you ever said, Steve. At this point you’ll catch hell no matter what you post, but that actually deserves props
