Miami Beta Throws Awesome Block Party Despite Getting Kicked Off Campus Years Ago

Two years ago, Beta Theta Pi was kicked off campus and threw a “Beta Theta Bye” party as a big middle finger to the man. An anonymous tipster told us that they are still fully functioning and throwing awesome ragers.

If you’re a fully functioning fraternity with an annual party, what are you to do even though you technically don’t have a charter? You throw that damn shindig anyway. That’s exactly what happened with the Beta Block Party.

Here’s the video of the shit show:

Well done by these guys. That looks like one hell of a party. It had all the ingredients for a true banger: booze, blue skies, blocked off street, and tons and tons of beautiful babes.

The party has caused quite the controversy in Oxford, and not because it was thrown by Beta. Some people think that the police may have caused the thing to get out of control.

From FOX 19:

Halfway through the video, an Oxford Police officer arrives, giving viewers the impression that the party is about to come to an end. Think again. Instead, the video shows an officer pretending to arrest a party goer but instead, the officer claps him on the back.

A seemingly short time later, the officer went on his way as the party blared on.

Seems like the officer did his due diligence and let the kids play. However, these pesky partiers were not going to get away scot-free. No, police hit them where it hurts by giving them a litter violation after the party’s end. So, to say that the police let this thing get outta hand is just plain wrong.

The whole litter fiasco could have been solved if Beta had their charter, and there were fall pledges. Just saying.

This wasn’t Beta…They used to throw the party and the name just stuck after they were kicked off

I go to Miami and Beta is just about as irrelevant as it gets. This party was mostly freshman and they paid a company to come in with a drone and film it. The fact that the Oxford PD was okay with the party says all that needs to be said.
