Lubbock Grocery Store Perfectly Trolls TCU With Keystone Light Display
Earlier this week, TCU suspended co-starting defensive end Michael Tuaua after he allegedly beat the shit out of another student and then stole his case of Keystone Light.
It is one of the funniest arrests of the college football season, even if we are only entering Week Four. Texas Tech fans find it funny, too. In fact, one Lubbock grocery store has a special “This Week Only” promotion for Red Raider fans preparing for tomorrow’s home game against TCU.
I truly appreciate the use of the “Come and Take It” flag.
The undefeated Red Raiders are as confident as ever after beating Arkansas on the road last week. Tech head coach Kliff Kingsbury even used his post-game press conference as an opportunity to talk shit about Bret Bielema. Things are trending up in Lubbock.
TCU isn’t bad, either. The Horned Frogs are 3-0, but the defense has shown glaring weaknesses in the early part of the season. They are due for an upset.
I guess now is a good time to segue into my #SteveCovers pick of the week. I’m taking Texas Tech +7 on Saturday. I’m also taking the under at 80 and I’m taking Tech straight up on the moneyline. Guns up, motherfuckers — tortillas will be flying..
