Some Heartless Bastard Stole Ohio State RB Ezekiel Elliott’s Dog
I’m not a big fan of the name Chase for dogs. Not sure why. I think it’s because my roommate, Philadelphia dumpster human and fellow TFM writer Dan Regester, named his dog Chase. The dog’s full name? Chase Muttley. I told Dan that now that Chase Utley is no longer with the Phillies, he has to change his dog’s name. He wasn’t having it. Typical lazy Philadelphian.
Despite my aversion to said dog name, I’m always saddened by dog disappearances. My fellow TFM Writer House dwellers and I actually took in a stray for a week when I first moved to Austin while we tracked down her owner. We’ll never forget you, Vicki. My weakness for sad, lonely street pooches is why this story at first scared me, but then made me feel all nice and fuzzy inside.
Yesterday, Ezekiel’s father tweeted out a call for help after Chase, the Elliott family dog, was stolen from the family’s home.

The dog is a little cutie patootie pie that I just wanna hug and snugg — sorry, I get a little carried away sometimes around dogs. Below are some photos of the pooch so you can even further hate the awful person who would steal a family’s pet.
