Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill Gets Owned By Scout Team, Calls Them All Poor In Response

Man, things aren’t going well in Miami right now.

This morning, the Miami Dolphins fired head coach Joe Philbin after a disappointing start to the season. With a midseason firing, there are always follow-up stories that can be pretty interesting — like a franchise quarterback struggling to beat the scout team and then talking shit about their paychecks afterward.

Ryan Tannehill, a former Texas A&M star and current disappointing quarterback for the Dolphins, is doing just that. After throwing multiple picks to a unit of NFL misfits, he proceeded to shit all over them for not making any money.

From National Football Post:

On Saturday during practice, [Ryan] Tannehill, after a couple of practice squad players forced turnovers, Tannehill made negative comments toward them, including saying: “Enjoy your practice squad paycheck, enjoy your practice squad trophy.”

Sources say this has been going on for the past few weeks as the practice squad players have been intercepting Tannehill and frustrating the former Texas A&M wide receiver turned quarterback.

“Enjoy doing your job! Enjoy making me look like shit! Enjoy your shitty one bedroom apartment that you can only lease for six months at a time because at any moment you might get cut! At least I’m still rich, motherfuckers.”

Apparently, Philbin had a talk with the practice squad about taking it easy on Tannehill because he was getting so rattled in practice. How absurd is that?

For what it’s worth, Tannehill signed a six-year, $96 million dollar contract in the offseason — with $45 million in guaranteed money. Practice squad players make $6,300 per week.

What a fucking baby.

I forsee Tannehill being traded before next season, miami doesn’t want that contract and his mediocre skill set will be pounced on by other teams that make shitty decisions. Browns, bears, jets, texans…

No one is going to trade for him or that contract. Just like how the Bears can’t move Cutler

Very few people seem to understand Tannehill’s contract. There’s only $21 million guaranteed, which means after 2017 he can be cut with no repercussions to the team. So it’s essentially a 3 year deal and the team gets the choice to opt out any year after that. Very team-friendly contract.

I don’t think Ryan Tannehill is the problem, but maybe their lack of a running game or protection, or the ability to stop the other team in general. Playing from behind for 12 quarters in a row isn’t going to cut it when you’re averaging less than 3 yards a carry and you’re slinging the ball 45 times a game.

It’s been near impossible to find Cameron Wake this season, if you told me he was dead I’d believe you.
