VIDEO: How About This Michigan Reporter Just Giving The Wolverines The Win On Live TV?
Saturday’s Michigan-Michigan State game might be one of the greatest games I’ve seen. I was so confident about Michigan winning that I even sent out a tweet saying that if Michigan ends up with only one loss to an undefeated Utah, they will make the playoff. Was it premature? Probably, but when do you ever see an ending like the one we had Saturday? Not very often. Let’s flash back for good fun.
I guess not everybody happened to see the ending. If you were watching the WZZM news in Grand Rapids and didn’t watch the game, you had a different image of how the game went down, thanks to reporter Jamal Spencer, who was reporting live at The Big House. He, too, jumped the gun.
Whoops. Good try. Good effort. Maybe Jamal was attempting to do what I do whenever my teams lose, by repressing the memory and just straight pretending we won. As far as I’m concerned, the Pirates are still in the playoffs.
Spencer was pretty cool about it later.
Not the first time I've made a mistake in my career and it won't be the last. Gotta take the bad with the good https://t.co/N4vxwJRgyM
