50 Guys Throw Hysterical Fake Funeral For Friend After He Gets Girlfriend
A group of Welsh friends threw their buddy a mock funeral — complete with a coffin and hearse — after he went out and got himself a girlfriend.
When Keiran Cable officially traded in fun nights out with his friends for Netflix and date nights with his girlfriend, his friends knew he was doomed. To send him off the right way, the guys planned and executed a mock funeral. It was comedy gold.

From Wales Online:
A group of Rhondda football boys hosted the surprise funeral for 20-year-old Keiran Cable after he got into a relationship and hadn’t been on a night out with them since.
The group of around 50 friends, who play for the local Prince FC football team in Treorchy , hosted the funeral, which was complete with a coffin, a funeral car, order of service leaflets, a vicar and football song ‘hymns’.
His friend Ben Sullivan said: “Keiran had been in a relationship for a few months and it felt like he had died because none of us had seen him since then and he wasn’t replying to any of our group texts or mails.
“A couple of weeks ago we were all in the pub and we all started saying RIP Keiran so we decided if he wasn’t going to come out with us and was going to pretend he was dead then we’d organise a funeral for him.
He apparently didn’t see it coming. When the guys dragged him out to witness his own funeral, he thought he was going to the pub to watch some rugby. They drove around from pub to pub in a hearse.

“I borrowed a funeral car and we drove the coffin from pub to pub, with the vicar in front and all of the boys in procession behind it. The roads were completely closed off, it was epic.”
They also had service leaflets made:

The pranksters also printed around 50 Order of Service leaflets, labelled ‘In Loving Memory of Keiran Cable’, complete with songs by The Vaccines, Oasis and The Jam.
It also paid a ‘special thanks’ to carpenter Shaun for creating the ‘magnificent coffin’ and ‘vicar’ Daniel Bundock who ‘carried out a memorable and respectful ceremony’.
For what it’s worth, Cable took it in stride. Although I’m sure the message was clear: Stop hanging out with your girlfriend so much, dude. Your boys miss you.
