Notre Dame Athlete Claims University Tutor Forced Him To Have Sex With Her Daughter

Let me see if I can lay out the gist of this weird story for you. South Bend is in a bit of a pickle at the moment as they attempt to decipher what actually happened between a university athlete, his university-employed tutor, and her daughter. It’s a tough one to explain. It appears that the cliff notes of it is that an athlete was “coerced” by his tutor to have sex with her daughter. The tutor provided everything, including lodging, transportation, and condoms. Once he tried to bail out of the “relationship,” she somehow used “racially-motivated language” to keep him on the hook. This is all alleged, of course.

On Friday, one of the students sued the school, arguing the tutor orchestrated “sexually and racially motivated” trysts with her daughter by including condoms, transportation and hotel rooms for academic favors.

“She was exploiting African-American males,” said lawyer Peter J. Agostino, who is representing the unnamed student. “He was invited to the family’s private home to facilitate the relationship.”

What? Was he raped? We’re definitely looking at more questions than answers here, but it only gets more absurd as the story drags on.

The alleged five-month relationship did not start until he sought tutoring lessons during this year’s spring semester, according to the lawsuit.

Those lessons quickly escalated to out-of-state sexual liaisons between her daughter, who was also at the school, and the student.

“She was encouraging it,” said the man’s other lawyer, Michael Misch. “The mom sought him out and promoted the relationship by providing hotel rooms and condoms.”

The academic coach would later interrogate him about the “nature, frequency, and quality of the sexual activities” they had, the lawsuit claims, badgering him with “racially-charged comments about his sexual prowess and genitalia,” the suit alleges.

After all of this occurred, the student allegedly attempted to bow out of the sex, which led to the tutor attempting to convert him to Catholicism and sending him to see her buddy in the counseling department who hooked him up with some meds that would keep him from ratting.

The coach’s apparent colleague and friend in the school’s psychiatric support allegedly worked in cahoots to “medicate Plaintiff John Doe to keep him passive, cooperative, and under control,” the court documents said.

It’s all so illogical and entirely incongruous with what you’d expect out of Notre Dame.

While I’m struggling with the idea that a horny teenage athlete would be pissed about being set up with unlimited sexual encounters with one of his peers, I’m not ready to call bullshit just yet. This lawsuit wasn’t filed for the hell of it. I’ll be looking forward to the news escaping the confines of South Bend as it should be incredibly intriguing for the near-future as this case unfolds..
