A shooting threat has been made against Fresno State’s campus by an anonymous poster on the app Yik Yak.

Fresno State and authorities are actively responding to the threat.

We’ll provide an update to the story as more information is made known.

      ASU police have said that there were threats made to other universities too. Best guess is that this is a coordinated effort from the virgins at 4chan

    I never understood why people think others are giving them dirty looks or talking about them. Even in hs I didn’t understand that. I just don’t care that much about other people so I don’t talk about them. It sounds shallow but really im just trying to get through classes so im pretty oblivious to my surroundings. Someone thought I was glaring at them but really I was just thinking really hard about what time I could squeeze my nap in. These crazy people need to start realizing, we don’t care enough about them to talk badly about them.

    Living a counter-culture lifestyle and then being surprised that you’re not accepted by you surrounding culture is almost as pathetic as threatening to shoot innocent people as a way to vent.

    Mental illness is a real problem is this country and it isn’t addressed properly, but that’s not the issue were dealing with in this and ASU’s case. It’s just losers in bomber jackets with long greasy hair angry that the cheerleader doesn’t want to sleep with them. Try some introspection, shitheads.

      And defining counter-culture as a mental illness is entirely nonsensical. Just classic liberal BS – toss out an idea, offer no means to accomplish, enforce anyway. As you said, these are just losers and so on. And as above, we’re supposed to embrace them anyway. Yet, libs ignore that these losers by definition and through their own choices don’t fit in, but offer no means to help them fit into their own crowd. So much of this would disappear if these kids simply had their own place, besides the WoW chatrooms. And these kids who never got attention, never had their voice heard, blah blah, have a means to get that attention now – that good ol’ liberal media, and bigger bangs get more attention. Besides, they truly don’t give a fuck about randos, neither do I, hope you guys don’t, and it’s no mental illness. PS. Doesn’t help that republicans scapegoat mental illness after gun violence. Attacking those who hurt you, not caring about randos, and attacking “the idea” of those who hurt you via randos is not a mental illness. It’s fucked up, but fucked up is not a mental illness.
