“Anonymous” Hacker Group Is Now Trolling ISIS In A Fantastic Way
Last week, online super hacker group Anonymous announced they were going to wage war on ISIS in retaliation for the attacks on Paris. ISIS kinda laughed it off on the app Telegram saying there is nothing they can do. Since then, Anonymous has shut down over 5,000 Twitter accounts belonging to ISIS members and posted their own handy dandy “How To” guide for those wanting to help aid in hacking Daesh.
Anonymous is stepping up their trolling game, however. And the way they are doing it is downright awesome.
Our upcoming action: spamming verified ISIS hashtags with rickrolls. Will release the list as soon as it's compiled.

For those who don’t know, the term “rickrolling” comes from the trend of tricking your friends into watching Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up” music video. It was funny back then, and it’s still funny today. Now when people who want to join ISIS are looking on Twitter for information, they are going to be flooded with Rick Astley videos. Genius.
ISIS is about to get Rickrolled..

I think even ISIS can get a chuckle out of that one

10 years ago at 9:54 amI already know how much shit I am gonna get for this, but I really dont hate this song all that much.
10 years ago at 9:59 amIt’s a catchy pop song, not bad in and of itself. The issue back in the day was that it sounds like some soulful fat black dude singing and then you look at Rick-mother fucking- Astley and it just ruins everything you thought you knew about life.

10 years ago at 10:16 amDancing like Rick Astley. TFM.
10 years ago at 10:22 amThey have good intentions but by trying to shut down ISIS accounts they are preventing proper surveillance by our intelligence agencies. There’s a reason Twitter and the government didn’t shut them down beforehand – they keep a close eye on them waiting for them to slip up and reveal sensitive information (as TFM noted a couple months ago when some terrorist took a selfie in the control room and then got bombed)
